John Poindexter, President and CEO

Has over 29 years experience with Farm Credit. John received his associate’s degree from Murray State College in 1978 and his bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from Oklahoma State University in 1980. Following a year of graduate school, John began his career with Farm Credit in May 1981 at the Pauls Valley office, where he performed various duties. In 1998, he assumed the responsibility of Vice President Operations for East Central and was the Executive Vice President serving as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Credit Officer for the association from 2002 to February 2007. John served as Acting President from Feb. 18, 2007 to April 2007 when he was named President/CEO.     

Dennis Green, Chief Credit Officer

Has over 32 years experience with Farm Credit. Dennis graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics in May 1978. Upon graduation he began his career with Farm Credit and has worked in various Farm Credit offices throughout Oklahoma and for a short time, in Dodge City, Kansas. Dennis was previously in charge of the Association’s internal credit and operations review program until May 2007 when he assumed the duties of Chief Credit Officer.

Shirley Allen, Vice President Administration

Has over 32 years experience with Farm Credit. Shirley began her Farm Credit career in 1978 working for the District Bank in Wichita, Kansas before relocating to Broken Arrow in 1980. She has held various positions within the East Central Oklahoma association since 1980. Shirley was previously Assistant Vice President Operations until 2004 when she assumed the duties of Vice President Administration. In May 2007, she was promoted to the Senior Management Team.

Del Peterson, Senior Vice President

Has over 23 years experience with Farm Credit. Del graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics in 1974. He spent 13 years at a commercial bank before beginning his Farm Credit career in 1987. Prior to joining the East Central Oklahoma association in 1995, Del managed three Farm Credit offices in central Kansas. Currently he serves as Senior Vice President working with the Muskogee, Stillwater, Kingfisher and Pauls Valley branch offices.

John Sutterfield, Senior Vice President

Has over 32 years experience with Farm Credit. John graduated from Oklahoma State University in May of 1978. Upon graduation, he began his Farm Credit career at the Stillwater branch office before transferring to Broken Arrow. John has held several positions within the association and currently serves as Senior Vice President. He supervises the Broken Arrow, McAlester, Durant and Vinita branch offices.

Patrick Zeka, Vice President and CFO

Has over 20 years experience with Farm Credit. Prior to his current position, Zeka served as a Vice President for U.S. AgBank from 1999 to 2008.  From 1996 to 1999,  he was President of The Oxford Bank, a small community bank in Kansas.  He started his career in the Farm Credit System in 1990 and held numerous positions in retail producer lending institutions in Oklahoma and Kansas through 1996.  Zeka holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from the University of Kansas.
