Timer Prescribed Burn Association and is a board member of the Lincoln
County Conservation District. Served as President of the National
Market News Association and the National Livestock Grading and Marketing
Association. Officiates numerous 4-H/FFA Commercial Cattle Grading
demonstrations and contests throughout the state.
Recently appointed by Gov. Brad Henry to the Eastern Red Cedar

Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service Assistant Director for
Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development. In that role, he
provides statewide programmatic leadership to those programs. He also
provides leadership to OCES budgeting, planning, and reporting. Prior to his
present position, Ross was a professor in the Department of Agricultural
Economics specializing in Agricultural Finance. Ross is the developer and
coordinator of Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service's IFMAPS project and a
co-developer of the IFFS financial planning software. He taught a
junior-senior level class in Agricultural Finance for 15 years. Ross has a
B.S. from Cornell University and a Masters and PhD from Michigan State
University in Agricultural Economics, Finance and Management. He has been at
OSU since 1982.

having established his practice after retiring from the Internal Revenue

services to the business and legal community.
He has extensive training in Income Tax Law, Criminal Investigative
Procedures, Money Laundering, Asset Seizure and Forfeiture, Bank Secrecy
Act, Employment Recruitment, and Classroom Instruction.
Received his B.S. degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State
University in 1970 with a double major in Accounting and Management.

Don and his wife Michi and son Cooper operate a crossbred cow
operation and run stocker steers on 850 acres of owned land and 950 acres of
leased pasture. Serves as
President of the Caddo School Board and Bryan County Fair Board. Active in the 4-H and FFA booster clubs, and enjoys going to the lamb and
hog shows with Cooper. He
supports the school sports teams. Don and his family are members of the
Caddo Nazarene Church.
